A leading interpreter of 20th and 21st century music, Christina Petrowska Quilico has premiered more than 100 news works by such celebrated artists as Pierre Boulez, John Cage, Louis de Pablo, Lowell Liebermann, György Ligeti, Krzysztof Penderecki and Karlheinz Stockhouse. Her vast repertoire includes many contemporary Canadian compositions and her recordings have twice traveled into space with Canadian astronaut Steve MacLean.

Christina has debuted close to twenty piano concerti and solo works and won the respect of major Canadian composers Glenn Buhr, Omar Daniel, Chris Paul Harman, Christos Hatzis, Larysa Kuzmenko, Alexina Louie, Heather Schmidt and Ann Southam who have all made her their pianist of choice. Not one to shy away from challenging pieces, Christina has recorded major works by Michel-Georges Brégent, a prominent composer of the French-Canadian avant-garde.

Christina has toured extensively through North America, Europe, The Middle East and Asia and recorded some 20 CDs of classical, romantic, new and world music. She also presides over "The Christina and Louis Quilico Fund"at the Ontario Arts Council Foundation, a tribute to her late husband, the legendary Metropolitan Opera baritone, Louis Quilico. Christina was one of 10 pianists invited to perform at "So You Want to Write a Fugue", special tribute to Glenn Gould, which took place September 25, 2007 at the Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto and broadcast live-to-air on CBC Radio Two's "Canada Live". Christina premiered two new works: Prelude and Fugue for GG by Montreal composer Ana Sokolovic and Nostalgia for Airs Unheard, by St. John's, Newfoundland-based composer Kati Agócs. The recording of Nostalgia for Airs Unheard was also broadcast on CBC Radio's "The Signal" and on "Music and Company".

On October 4, 2007, The Canadian Music Centre and the Faculty of Fine Arts, York University sponsor the launch of Centrediscs' latest release "Eclipse", featuring works by Canadian composer David Mott and a performance of the piano concerto, Eclipse, by Christina Petrowska Quilico.
